have 93 3.1 lumina, no start had no codes in beginning. fuel filter was clogged up, changed it also removed tank and check pump ok. still no start. checked rail pressure 50 , so am getting fuel to rail. am getting spark at front three plugs, went ahead and changed cps and ecm, still no start, will start if gas is put in throttle body, pulled front three plugs no sign of fuel, cranked engine over and still no fuel at pistons. really dont think all six injectors could be clogged. but filter was totaly stopped up. injectors are getting 11.9 volts in and out , is there a way to check the injectors or any other ideas what i might check?thanks for the help

Sounds like you need a noid light to see if the injectors are firing if they are i would see if you have air in the Fuel rail it should push out though or you havea plug fule rail before the injectors maybe at the pressure regulator thats is where i would look

thanks but just fixed it, it was the ign control module it was not sending ref signal to ecm to get correct loop to injectors. since it was recieving fire to plugs and injectors didnt think that it was it, but after studying wire diagrm saw it fed the ecm ref signals, so pulled it and tested and that was the problem.running great now

That sounds like what's been going on with mine. I've had a 91 Lumina for about a month. Only 109,000 miles on it. I give it a small shot of starting fluid and it runs until it's shut off. Then about 3 times out of 4 it needs shot of starting fluid to start up again. Once running it stays running.
