I have a 1996 Honda Passport, auto,3.2, 4x4. and the check engine light stays on. My Haynes manual shows the location and terminal jumper pins for 1995 and earlier 3.2 engines and the ALDL connector for 3.1 engines , but it says nothing about a 1996 3.2 engine. Can anyone tell me where to find the diagnostic connector for my model? Thanks!

It's directly under the driver's side fuse box.

Thanks Canucklehead I found it. I was looking for a loose plug I didn't realize that it was mounted.

and ragtag, you know not to jumper your obdII connector, but use an obdII reader...right?

Thanks again to trooperbc. Yes, once I saw the connector I realized it an ObdII. I have just recently purchased this vehicle and I am trying to learn as much as possible about it. Any recomendations on a decent data link tool that's not super expensive?

ebya i just bought one myself... 50 for it and 10 shipped... the thing is awesome, shows live data and also tell you what sensors are doing what. Most of the time i dont need to look up the engine codes because the reader i have has a pre programmed description.....

since your planning on buying one... google what they are and what they do... then search ebay for a decent 50$ reader that can do what you want it to do....

they really are great to have.
