I am planning to put a trailer hitch on my 01 Rodeo. Looked thru couple of online shops recommended here. Are all brands good or are there any ones recommended?
Also, any recommendations for a bike carrier(3 bikes)?
TIA

If you're looking for a heavy duty bike carrier 3 bikes +; I would recommend a class 3 hitch, with a 2" receiver.
I have a class 3, draw-tite hitch on my '97 Rodeo; it's hauled a 4k lb boat, horse trailer, and a few flat-bed trailers without issue.
Also had a '91 Rodeo with a class 2 Reese hitch, hauled the same stuff without issue, but I like the thickness - if you will - of the class 3 hitches.
You may not need a class 3 however, if the most you're doing is carrying bikes, a class 2 WITH a 2" receiver should suffice - but I think they're hard to find.

I got a draw-tite hitch from etrailer.com for $135 shipped to my door and it came in 2 days. It is a class 3 and it is made for the tire on the door but they have lots to choose from.

I was out at Pull and Save yesterday and bought a U-Haul class three trailer hitch with mounting hardware and the turn signal converter for eight dollars.
All it needs is a quick paint job.
Score!!!!
