Low beam HIDs, high beam DRLs ?

Hi folks,

This is about a 2004 Trailblazer currently equipped with low beam DRLs - I would like to fit the low beams with HIDs, but don`t want to run those constantly as DRLs! So here is my question: can the high beams be converted to function as low-intensity HIDs? Do I require a special DRL module for this and can the current/voltage currently powering the low beams be used to run the high beams as DRLs?
Thanks for any tip on this issue....

No, you need to do a DRL disable mod. Either buy a DRL-K module or do a DRL killer mod.

Then just install your low beam HIDs and dont worry about it. Thats exactly what I did a month or so ago.
