My 2000 Jimmy is making the clicking blinker noise all the time.
I replaced the flasher module behind the glove box, but this did not cure the problem.
Has anyone had this issue, or know the solution?
Thank you in advance.

What area is the noise coming from?
Can you feel a relay or module clicking?
Is everything working good?
Does 4 way flashers turn on and off.
Could the 4 way flasher be clicking or switch bad?

MT-2500. Thanks for reply. I think these were all your questions:
Noise is coming from behind glovebox, unhooked latch to see behind, felt like relay clicking to the touch as made "blinker/flasher noise," replaced flasher module with OEM part - did not fix.
All lights appear to be currently working. Clicking also goes away when brakes applied.
Spoke to dealer re: NHTSA Recall Campaign #01V364000 stating I think it is cause. Dealer resisting that notion, which does not make me happy. Taking truck into dealer on Monday (for unrelated maintenance upkeep) and they will "check into it" then. I smell a repair fee, and subsequent argument with manufacturer.
Any further insights?

That Recall no is also a good GM recall no.
Owners should have received a notification letter on it.
Ask your dealer to pull the recall up and read it.
The symptoms on the recall is no brake lights and rear hazard lights but that may be next on yours.
If manf date is between 2001 -4 mo 01 day to 2001 -8 mo -31 day.
And If the dealer does not fix it on there dime call GMC at 1-800-462-8782
Also the NHTSA phone no on it is 1-800 424 9393 or 202-366-123
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
