Well just finish those 550s and 575Ms a few weeks ago and then started on these 4 enzos. Been busy with it until now that I had found the time to post some WIP. This is my first time attempting to add details like nuts and bolts, piping, carbon fibers and ........whatever I can find to detail them. Advise and comments are welcome.

Piping and carbon fiber work on the top head.

Carbon fibers will be added at a later stage on the other parts.

Studio 27 PE sets were used for the mesh grills

These Sakatsu parts were used for the piping that least to the breaded hoses.

Tubes will be inserted at a later stage and bent to shape and cut to length to connect the breaded hoses.

Body parts are painted and clear coated and now in the gasing out period awaiting to be wet sand and compound polish.

Well hope you guys enjoy it. Like I said this is the first time adding details to my models so please cut me some slack.

Holy crap you must have a lot of free time!!! I cannot even do an Enzo (well) in under a month! You are doing 4, that must be crazy. Good way to spend $220! Great work too, they will be beautiful.

Your builds are like assembly lines... it's always fun to watch them, man!

Will you "mix" the bodyparts? 4 3-coloured enzo's, that should draw some attention...

thats very ambitious... but seems like you are doing a good job of it.

4-4 colored Enzo's. That second dark one is a dark blue metallic (I think).

Dear All,

Thank you guys for your kind compliments and most of all your value encouragement.

Deltableh,
I used to built no less then 5 models at once OOB for display units for my local Tamiya importer. So, guess I am used to it. At times it could be a little messy but manage to sort it out.

Enzoenvy1,
Yes, the colours are, Red, Yellow, Black and Dark Metallic Blue.

slk320,
Thanks for your encouragement. Your WIP on the ENZO FXX did give me the inspiration to start detailing. Thanks. I am way far behind you in terms of detailing and look forward to learn more from you.

Hello! Well it has been almost 10 months that I had put away building this 4 little Enzos. I had been really busy and totally burn out not only from modelling but work too. A week ago, I had decided to start again and finish these cars and hopefully keep my spirit up for modelling and finish what I have still in stored from my stach.

From the3 following pictures you will see that I had finished all the engine bay's wiring and whatever it needs to be finished. The body parts were also done with PE mesh. Oh! Body panels were also 95% polished. Enjoy the pics!!!

What a shine and detail. Wonderful job you are pulling off here, 4 things at the same time (even though they are roughly the same..).

I'm really waiting to see these 'gang of 4' finished and standing next to each other! Nice build and nice idea anyway, wasn't it boring to do everything 4 times??? I think you now can build an Enzo without the instruction manual, ritght? :grinyes:

Excellent work. I can't imagine having the patience to build four of the same kit at a time, and your doing a great job!

You can have a comment. As said before, this project is fantastic. It takes me forever to finish just the DTM-CLk and pull 4 Enzos off at the same time in a very professional fashion. Great, simply great. Make sure to make lots of pictures of these babies together.

I'm so glad everytime I see a Enzo getting built. Now I'm 4 times as glad with this build. Wish you had done 1 in white even though I like all the colors you selected. What are all the other kits you built 4 times?

Thank you guys for your kind compliments. I am looking into another week to finish off these cars. Like I said as I could not figure out what colour looks best and that is why I decided to built 4 of them with the colours which I think looks good on Enzos. One more thing. This is the first time I ever used CB decals and PE sets for my models. So I am still learning. Besides most of my builts are OOB.

Great to built 4 at the same time but you'll experience 4 times the stress and fustration :banghead: X4 when you have to face even the smallest issue.

Thanks again guys. It give me great encouragement to finish them off and post the gang of 4 as requested.

Man I forgot about this last year. I really think you hit this build on the head. Why not break up the the hard task of a Tamiya Enzo and replicate it four times for each piece?! This is great I really love it and am glad you are back to finish.

I almost would do this but I can't even finish a single model.
