Lower control arm...HELP!

I give up...I needed to replace my lower control arm along with the wishbone. Got the wishbone off. Got most of the lower control arm off. I can't get the bolt on the end of the arm to come out (not the balljoint side). I got the nut off of it. The bolt refuses to budge. It spins for so far, then when i try to really pull on it (with a 3ft breaker bar), it kind of "springs". I've broken a 17mm impact socket and 2 ratchets already. I noticed that the springing was the rubber spinning with the bolt. WTF? I tried getting on the other side of the bolt and pounding it through with a hammer. Doesn't budge an inch. What the hell is keeping this bolt in there?

i do believe that was a recall but you can check at recalls.gov to see if it was. MFG will pay for it

I completely forgot about that until I was already in the process on getting it off lol... Too late now, I had to cut it off with an air cutter. Took a while cutting through that damn bolt, but i got the new one on along with a new wishbone piece (the lower lateral link?) I can't remember exactly what it's called. Both ball joints were bad and i failed inspection because of them. But I replaced both of those, along with a new drivers side outter tire rod end, and new tires and an alignment...This thing rides like a dream now :)

If that was recall work, call the dealership and find out how to get reimbursted for it. Make sure you kept all the receipts, even for bolts and everything. You can get almost every penny back.
