2000 Montana NEED help

Hey everyone, my name is Joe, I have a 2000 Montana and today my wife took it to work and everything was fine, she called me at lunch and said it wouldn't start. I assumed loose connection on battery or dead battery.

She works at a school and they boosted it and pulled into auto shop. They then charged battery for several hours. She went to leave and no start.

I then came over and noticed the + terminal on the battery actually had fallen out of the battery

After changing the battery I get lights, radio, everything except it doesnt turn over, here's what i have done and noticed

when i turn the key to "on" everything lights up as normal except the security light flashes consistently. I thought it was maybe lost its pk3 programming so I tried the relearn to no avail.

I then crawled underneath and jumped the starter, the van starts and then quits within a second or two....

I'm quite confused so here are my questions

1. could they have fried the bcm trying to boost it and now it wont relearn the antitheft for pk3?

2. can someone tell me where the bcm is located?

3. anti theft relay? where it might be located?

4. could it be the pcm?

5. can someone verify the relearn procedure for the pass key?

Also i have checked fuses and such but i have not checked the starter relay beside rad. Again everything seems to function normal except the total silence when i try and start...

Please help I'm confused and lost. any help appreciated.

This will probably have to be towed in to dealership. Sounds like the theft deterent module has shorted out due to arcs and voltage spikes related to yor broken batt. terminal. They will replace it and have to reprogram it along with your keys.
