I am pretty knowlegable about car audio, and I try to stick with namebrand stuff i.e. infinity, mtx. but I am looking for an inexpensive amp to power an infinity 6.5 inch component set, about 100 wats per channel. I have been looking at parts express and have seen amps for 50-100 dollars that will work. does anyone have any comments about these. the brands i have seen are lanzar, pyle, pyramyd, and ma audio. I don't want to buy a chunk because I am a sound quality nut and want the best sounding system I can afford.
thanks

many people seem to like profile as a budget SQ amp. You can do something like that or save up and get something a little better.

ma audio and audiobahn rate their amps at 18 volts i belive which most cars and trucks do not run that high.

ok, I do know about all those "false" claims manufacturers make, but I wasnt aware that these two did that. maybe I should save up and get the infinity 6541a. any experiance or comments?

I wouldnt pay that much for a an amp based on brand. Infinity makes decent amps, but you will get the same benefits from profile at a fraction of the cost.
