PLEASE HELP! 99 blazer stall while driving

I have a 99' blazer with a 4.3L v6. When i am driving in hot weather the engine if fine and runs with no trouble however when it is hot the engine will stall and continue to do so until the engine cools. The engine is in the normal temp range so I dont think it is vapor lock. Several mechanics told me to replace the ignition control module so i did. The problem vanished for about 5 days then returned the next day. After this i was told i should replace the crankshaft position sensor. This did nothing as it continued to stall. After looking around it seems that the problem may be the fuel pressure regulator. I cannot get the code because the plug is not working(some thing about the hot wire not making contact). If anyone has had this problem i would appreciate it if you could tell me how you solved it. Or if anyone knows what my next step would be to get back on the road asap. Thanks

I doubt the problem is with the fuel pressure regulator, but you can check it by doing a fuel pressure test and see what the leak down is doing.

I suspect you have a electronic component failing when the engine gets warmed up. Heat is the enemy to electronics. I would replace the ignition control module again, as it solved the problem the first time. It's not unusual for a new part to be bad or weak right out of the box. What brand was it? Go with an AC/Delco this time.
