This is driving me nuts! I'll be driving along and let off the gas and it quits. It starts right back up but in city driving this is not good. It doesn't happen all the time; it's actually quite intermittant but it happens often enough that it's very frustrating. I've run a tank of gas with injector cleaner but it's still happening.
I changed the fuel filter last October so I don't think that's the problem unless you think that I should be changing it after only 5 or 6 months. (?)
Thanks in advance,
Dave
Update - Now I can't even start the engine. It does fire, for about 5 seconds and then quits.

thought I'd found the problem - lots of oil in the distributor cap but it still stalls. It never stalls at highway speeds, only at low rpm's; like city driving.

If you give it a little gas does that keep it from stalling?

If I'm at a standstill it doesn't. If I'm moving then sometimes popping the clutch while flooring it will bring it back to life. Simply giving it more gas does not work.

hmm... this kind of sounds like my car just before my DME relay went. It controls your fuel pump so if it kicks off it shuts off fuel. Sounds like yours could be going might want to check into that as I know its a common problem. Their like $50

Turned out to be the DME relay. Got one off ebay and presto - back in business!
Thanks guys,
