Where is the location of the horn on a 06 Sonata. The fuse and relay are okay. I think the wire has been removed. I just purchashed and found the alarm and horn do not sound. Would like to check before taking to dealer.
Thanks in advance

I've had a similar problem, but one of my horns seems to be intermittent (so I don't always get the dual-tone sound, which sounds embarrassingly cheap when I hit the lock button twice). I suspect that I found one of the horns in the front just in front of the radiator. You have to unscrew part of the grill thing and it doesn't seem to enjoy coming off. I got it lose enough to bend the plastic foward or something and reach down in there, but I couldn't get to it very easily. I couldn't get the connector unplugged, but I think I was able to reseat it a bit. Unfortunately, the problem still exists.
Very annoying problem. I don't know what to recommend. If you're in doubt, take it in. It should still be under warranty if you have under 60k miles on it and they should fix it for free.
I recommend that you look over the car in detail to find anything else that could possibly be wrong with it and ask them to repair that while it's in the shop too. You might as well. Be anal.
I'm having a few problems with mine and one of the things I want to ask them is if there is a software update for the way the transmission behaves. It seems to me that it's kinda sluggish at times.

Correct, one horn mounted to the center post in front of radiator and the second is behind the bumper low and in front of the drivers side tire. Go to http://jerrystout.us/sonata/misc.htm and look under do it your self and misc for a good picture.
