couple of problems

hi everyone
1. when I make a left turn and apply the brakes at the same time, I can hear a grinding noise. If I apply the brakes going straight on turning right, no noise. If I turn to the left without the brakes, no noise. Also, after I hear the grinding noise, when I turn my wheel from left to right, I can hear, what I believe to be, power steering sounds. What could be the cause of this?
2. while I was checking underneath the car for my right wheel ABS sensor, I happen to pull a black wire, and now my ABS, TRAC CONTROL and check SYS soon lights are on all of the time. Is that wire replaceable? or does it come in a kit with the sensor? or are we talking big bucks getting that fixed.
Any and all help is appreciated!
EDIT: Sorry, i'm new. not sure if it matters, but I forgot to mention, 01' sunfire GT
Thanks

Welcome Aboard!
Where, exactly, was the wire located? If the wire is for a wheel speed sensor, that's the likely cause of all your warning lights and error codes. If the wire was to a wheel/hub speed sensor, and there is not sufficient wire to splice, you'll have to replace the hub.
