condensing headlights

I found a photo on google a while ago which unfortunately I can't seem to find now, but it was a 3000GT without the glass covers on the headlights. I'm pretty sure they weren't custom or anything, just the headlights without the glass over them. It looked kinda cool, but I don't know if it would be a good idea. I have condensed headlights and was thinking rather than cleaning and replacing the covers, I could just leave them off. I DO have glass covers and not lexan on my 94, just so no one asks, but would this not be a good idea for any reason?

They look 100 times better with the glass. You can tell somethings missing without them. Cleaning is not that hard.

94 is the only year they were glass, so assuming you still have the stock headlights yes you have glass ones.

Those are the 95+ lights with the covers removed and the inside painted black. Your lights will not look like that if you remove the glass.

what you could do (i've had friends that have done this) is remove the glass cover and remove the paint from the inside (bottom) of the cover. then you replace the cover, and you will be able to see the insides of your headlights, but you'll still have the glass cover protecting them from road debris.

most cars now days do the moister thing..my sister had a dotsun do that i took them out took lite buls out and to the purple cleaner in them and let them air dry before putting them back in and problem gone you might even take rainex..good luck...
