dc headers fucked

so im driving down this new road and didnt see the raise manhole cover sticking up about 4 inches ..... no my headers are like flat... i have the dc 4-2-1 2 peice header and without showing you a picture imagine the 2 pipes side by side as half moons.... this will prolly take away alot of my power correct???

well for starters..u know having vulgar language in titles aint tolerated:nono: and yes it all depends..im sure u heard ur exhaust note change..have u felt a big decrease in power? im guessing u might lost 1-2 hp depending on the damage

I would guess more than that, hes practically back to a stock exhaust size, if not smaller..thats a pinch point. The previous owner of my car somehow (I have no idea how, Ive never bottomed out) managed to more than flatten the same points on my header, I also have the DC 4-2-1 2 piece. Ive looked up several different methods of trying to fix it, everything from using the same method as pulling a dent in a car..to pulling a trailer hitch ball through the heated header.

b4 i boosted i had dc on my d & b and i wasnt too fond of the header in the first place..and i sure wasnt happy with the finish constantly rusting and getting discolored..weird enuff i thought the oem 4-1 sounded alot better

buy a new header. and dont cuss in the titles, ass.

dc ceramic worked well for withstanding a fire in my engine bay. The rest of my exhaust pretty much disintegrated... haha.

Just buy a new header and raise your car up or don't drive on shitty roads with it slammed... LOL
