bose speakers crossovers

i'm upgrading my already good subwoofers into something wicked. the amp its connected to already has an active crossover on it, so i can choose to give my subs only the lows. my question is do the bose speakers have crossovers built into them or what? i see no reason to make those speakers attempt to make bass now that ive got two 250 watt rms 10" RF Punches. can i adjust the factory crossover levels? or am i going to have to put in my own crossover.
if i'm gonna have to put in a new crossover... i figure i might as well replace the bose amp too, as it just aint loud enough. if i'm gonna do that, about how many watts can the factory 6-speaker system handle?
