Trouble With The Fuel Filter?

RECENTLY I WENT TO START MY 2003 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5L WHEN IT WOULD TURN OVER, BUT NOT START DUE TO IT NOT GETTING ANY FUEL. SO I HAD TO PUMP THE GAS PEDAL LIKE A CARBEURATED MOTOR TO FINALLY FIRE IT BACK UP. I WAS TOLD BY SEVERAL AUTO PARTS PLACES THAT NISSAN WILL NOT RELEASE CERTAIN PRODUCTS FOR INDIVIDUALS TO PURCHASE:banghead: .
I THOUGHT I SEEN TWO FUEL FILTERS, BUT I WAS TOLD BY OTHERS THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE FUEL FILTER, WHICH IS IN THE GAS TANK ITSELF. I BOUGHT LUCAS FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER AND FILLED THE TANK WITH 93 OCTANE GAS AND HAMMERED THE HELL OUT OF THE CAR TO TRY AND GET SOME OF THE GUNK OUT, BUT IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH THIS SUPPOSED FUEL FILTER PROBLEM?

I don't know about the filter but I will tell you this; these cars
are notorious for flooding if you simply start the car up and
immediately shut it off.
I've experienced this myself first hand and upon research, I learned of
this. I have actually tried it and it is indeed true.
Once you do it and it won't start unless you floor it or wait for 1/2 hour
then you'll be able to start up fine there after..
Hope that helped.

This has happened to my 98 several times. On a cool day if you start it and then shut if off after 30 seconds it might restart but you will smell the excess fuel.
