Yes, you can do pretty much anything if you have the $ and the knowledge. I've even seen a couple del sols online that had engines swapped to the back of the car to make them MR. But there aren't any kits available to make it easy, it will cost an arm and a leg, and you'll need to know how to do it because there aren't any walkthroughs or anything like that. But honestly, if you need to ask if it can be done, you probably aren't going to be able to do it. There are a ton of things you need to do to get it to work right, and not just destroy a good car. I'd recommend just sticking with a realistic swap; B-series, or even H-series or K-series if you want a challenge.

you CAN do anything you want, but it would cost a lot of money to do it...the more practical approach, which has already been done several times, is to swap an FWD (H, B, or K series) into the rear of the Del Sol. It would take a lot of money, skill and patience, but could be and has been done....
