97 Eagle Talon ESI,my front right suspension when turning or going over a small bump squeeks like crazy. When you push on the hood up and down you can really hear the squeek. I used WD-40 on all the bushings and control arms,it got better but it is still there. Does anyone have any idea how to repair this problem. The steering and handling is fine but the squeek drives me crazy.

It is definately a suspension part . With the engine off and pushing on the fender, you hear squeaking as you push up and down.

Try greasing everything up real good, WD40 evaporates too quickly. If that dosn't work, you may need to start replacing things.

I am having the same problem on the driver side of my eclipse right now. I think it has something to do with the upper control arm. I hate that these cars do not have any grease fittings...or do they? I am 90% sure that it just needs some good grease. Good luck getting it in there.

Update: After thoroughly spraying all the rubber bushings and control arms,it seems to have gotten better. None of the suspension components are loose and the bearings are ok. I am going to use silicone grease because I know WD-40 will evaporate and the sqeek will return.

I found the squeak to be the lower control arm which has the ball joint. This model had a recall and they were originally replaced on a recall. Does anyone know if they wil replace the same parts again?

They should. I have read on here that several people have had numerous recalls done on the same car for that. Contact a few dealers in the area and see if you can get them to do it.
