Yeah, good ones to know. and is there any glue out there that won't mess up the paint. the glue i have now acts as a paint thinner and gets paint all over. basically the only model glue and paint i have access to are testors.
stupid stores need to learn a few things from your stores and get more of a selection. maybe you guys could talk the owners of your hobby stores to build a store in provo, utah. that would be choice!

I use Revell liquid glue for initial building, but once that is done I turn to Kristal klear, which is like wood glue really! Any mess can be cleaned up with water.

If anything needs to be strong or instant I use Zap Attack superglue, but you can do real damage with that, so experience stops me messing it up! I apply it with a cocktail stick!

With the Kristal klear that Dan said, it drys as a gloss, so be careful if you have to use it on a "flat base" paint.
The other good thing about it is that it can be painted over.

I get mine from the UK, so try a search around where you are and see what you get!

I was at a Hobby Shack (now called Hobby People; a chain of hobby stores in CA; they have more R/C stuff than anything else) and it was the last bottle on the shelf, so I tried it. It's great stuff, and I like the fact the lid has the little brush. Way easier to use than a stupid tube.
