I know this question sounds laughable. I am actually serious. The thing is, I know nothing about cars. I tried to remove it by hands but couldn't. A friend of mine told me that to remove the tire, I needed a special tool somewhat like a crowbar to remove the spare tire? Is he correct? If not, How the heck do i remove this wretched spare tire from underneath the truck?

Any input is appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Do you have the original tire changing tools for the truck? Don't pry the the tire off. Look around the midddle of the rear bumper, below the tailgate for a hole, possibly rectangular shaped with a circle in the middle. Using the tire changing tools, enter the proper tool through the hole until it engages a spool. Turn the tool in a counter clockwise direction to lower the tire. The tire is attached to the truck by a cable. If you can post pictures of all the tire changing tools with numbers, I would be better able to tell you how to connect them together.

Look under the back seats. That is where the tools are kept. There will be one tool with a flattened end and a bump in the flattened part. That goes in the rectangle hole and engages in the spare tire lowering device. Just turn that and you will see the chain lower the tire down. Your jack and all the other tools should also be under the back seats.
