changing ignition 97

hello again ,
sorry i dont have time to read through all posts my daughter has managed to loose the one and only set of keys to her 97 grand voyager and i am wondering if i have to have a key to change out the ignition some people are telling me i do and some say no i dont want to start this and find out that i cant do it if it is possible can i get so info on it please as i have told yall i am a car dummy:banghead:

Take your VIN to the local MOPAR dealer and he will cut you a set of keys!
