didode for ac

I have 89 dodge van b150/w 3.9l eng. It has a didode on the a/c comp. clutch wire. I want to know where can i get one and what size to get (if there is a size). can anyone help me. thanks.

A good bone yard/auto salvage should have a AC clutch plug in.
Sometimes radio shack or electrical place may have one.
Just a one way 12 volt electrical diode

It is on there to keep the ac clutch from electrical spiking the electrical system

It does not keep or help the clutch from kicking in.
