Are you 100% on the subs, there are better out there. But it really depends on what you are after and its better than an a-bomb.
As for subs the 4 channel amp is the best for your setup. Bridge them at 4 ohms by wiring the subs coils in series will give you 4 ohms so wire each sub in series and bridge each set of channels.

ya, im 100%. Hifonics is a pretty good brand and i like the look. i also dont want too much power to the point where i need a new altenator and/or a 2nd battery. just enough power to sound good and get away w/o replacing alot of things.
ok, thx. ill probably do it that way then and get the 4 channel.

a dual 2 ohm sub is generally made for a single class D amp, whih are most efficient at 1 ohm. If you want 2 subs and want to maximize power output from the amp(s), you can 1) get a class D amp that is stable to 1/2 ohm and wire them both in parallel or get one that puts out acceptable power at 2 ohms and wire the 2 subs in series.

Or you can get the 4ohm dvc subs instead. And just wire everything in parallel. Theres alot of ways to go about it. And i will agree that a mono block d class amp would be better but i was just telling him which one out of the ones he selected would be best.

that and if this is your first system you might do one of two things think it is loud enough or think it is weak and you need more. and if you want more then you are going to need an efficient amp as possable.

Your going to want about 600-800rms @1ohm. Whats your budget.
Try these brands for an idea hifonics, autotek(made by maxxsonics who makes hifonics but they actually put out closer to there rated power than hifonics). zapco, us amps, pretty much and good quality amp. Research what you want and ask opinions. Its better to get as much research as possble.

typically, when you buy what you really want the first time - you end up spending a lot less in the long run. Look on places like ebay or for sale forums on the different car stereo or competition forums. If you can find a good quality 800-1000 watt amp for like $300-400 used, you robably won't have to end up buying another one.

I just found this Hifonics "Titan" amp...
Hifonics TXi 1007 Titan Series Class D 1000 Watt RMS
-350 watts RMS x 1 channels into 4 Ohms (stereo)
-700 watts RMS x 1 channels into 2 Ohms (stereo)
-900 watts RMS x 1 channel into 1 Ohm
-Class D Design
If that doesnt work, then im not going to bother w/ any Hifonics amps anymore.

Il bet the 900 is at 4ohms.
Look on ebay for the autotek MM1000.1d, its about 200 and does 1000rms @1 ohm.

Dont know what there talking about my autotek puts out almost 100% of rated power. Ive got a mm75.4 which is 250x2 bridged and i was right at 248 and some change when i was tuning it. And i have heard good things about massive.
