You would have to know how much the trailer weighs . Usually if it has a factory tow package it can tow 3500 lbs bu that is with very little extra gear inside the van . you need to look at the GVWR which is:
Total weight of a fully equipped vehicle and trailer with cargo, driver and passengers, fuel, coolant, equipment, etc.
I think this is on the inside of the driver side door .

the trailer wt. is 2650lbs dry.the t&c has a trans cooler from the factory
in front of the rad and ac units in the grill.should i get a bigger trans cooler put in?

You should be fine with that size of trailer.
No need to modify the van beyond factory specification. Just be sure to follow the "severe" maintenance schedule and service the transmission every 15,000 miles.
