89 caprice stalling???

here is a nice one...my 89 stalled when sitting still but never when moving! I used HELM manual to diagnose an intermittent loss of power to the in-tank fuel-pump. As many of the readers here have noted, there is no shortage of rain-water getting into the trunk, under the trunk-floor carpet, making small ponds in the wheel-wells, etc. Well, the wiring harness connector for the fuel-pump is underneath the carpet over the left wheel-well...it had oxidized with the dampness and was arcing when I found it. Evidently while running the connection kept re-establishing itself with the car's motion. Go check this wiring connector on ALL 89s!
