1995 lesabre custom 3.8SI 130K
i changed my fuel pump 6 months ago due to a problem with the car, and it didnt solve it. now that that prombe is fixed a new one occured, so i changed my fuel pump again last monday. problem gone again. last night my ball joint broke so i parked my car and when i went to crank it today, it wouldnt start. again i dont hear my fuel pump when i turn the key so its not turning on. this problem didnt occur while the car was running so i dont want to relace the fuel pump again. ive been told to check the #6 jumper, but i dont know where that is. also i never could find a fues for it. i want to know what i can check before ripping out the gas tank yet again.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

On the same site as the link I sent you, you will find chassis wiring diagrams that you can use to track this problem.

Fuse #6 is under the dash on passenger side.
You may have a bad fuel pump ground.
Here's a link that will show where to find the ground. Fuel pump ground will be the connector that has black wires going to it.
