Anyone have Adjustable Pedals

My sister has been struggling driving taurus due to small stature about 5'3. Car is fine for everyone else, she even likes the car but can't get it to fit. Have power seats, but at max height and closeness to dash, she's literally in front of steering wheel. Driving position is wrong according to manual. I'm not going to retrofit existing car but I see plenty of taurus for sale, some must have adjustable pedals. I might have to go to a smaller car.
I've never seen the adjustable pedal option, just wondering if anyone had any practical experience.
Thanks for helping

I had them on an 04 Suburban that was my wife's daily driver. She never used them at 5'4". They are more than a gimmick than anything. I expect them to disappear in a few years.
Good Luck!:grinyes:

I have them on my 01 and they are very nice and handy. Even are nice for when you sprain your right ankle.

I have them on my '02 SES and my "shortie" wife adjusts them when she drives. Last couple of model runs of Taurus left off the sway bars and adjustable pedals. (among other things I expect)
They are no more of a "gimmick" than much of what you see on current imports.

That is just your opinion. Many people love them and wish that they came available on more cars ;)
