Anyone know where I can get a trailer wiring harness for an '07 Tacoma? I don't want to cut any of the factory wires, but I'm having difficulty finding the kit outside of a dealer. Are the tail light plugs the same on an '07 as what they are on an '06?
On an unrelated note, my '07 has a little button almost right under the steering column that says "reset". Does anyone know what this is for? I think it has something to do with the tire pressure sensors, but I can't find anything about it in my owner's manual.

Ask the parts department if the trailer wiring kits for the 06 and 07 are the same. If they are an aftermarket kit for an 06 may work OK. Some people have experienced problems with aftermarket kits on older Tacomas. I have a Hoppy kit on my 04 and it's OK so far. Don't cut into you existing wiring to add a plug. Trailers use a the same bulb for signal and stop lights, most foreign vehicles have separate bulbs for these functions and require a wiring kit with a converter for trailer lights.
I don't know the answer to you other question.

Thanks. I have a hoppy kit on my '98 Tacoma and have had only a few minor problems with it. I was able to find the right kit for the '07, and it works on any model '05-'07. Oddly enough, it also fits some old T-100 models.
