This is sorta follow up to my last, but not really. I had found a cached subject on Automotive Forums called 95 dual heating climate control problem (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t173558.html).
In the forum someone suggested to try the following (this was in response to someone not being able to get the same temperature air out of both drive and passenger vents. ie. Driver Hot, Passenger Col). My issue is completely dead controller on passenger side, and yes drivers got nice and hot, passanger freeeeezing).
This is what someone said to do"
-Turn the ignition switch on, but dont start the car
-Hit the OFF button twice on the climate control
-Turn the ignition switch off and wait 30 seconds
-Turn the iginition switch back on again, but still dont start the car
-Wait 3 minutes before starting the car and trying out the climate control
So I did this and VIOLA! heat on both sides now.
Now I called a Buick Dealer and spoke to service tech there told him what I did, and he told me he never heard of such a thing.
My question is does anybody know what I just did, is this temporary or long term override? And how did someone know how to do that?
Thanks
