im working on my 95 rs n/t and a while back my idle started to surge between 1000 and 2000 up and down constantly and this is all after i just had the timing belt and all that goes with it changed ...i recieved info to change the I.A.C. so i did and there was no change and after sitting all winter while i was doing all the body and interior work its still doing the same thing! but i also have a new problem that i dont understand that is i went to change my plugs out ,on cylinder 1 and 4 the plugs were soaked with a milky or oily whitish liquid all over them and i was having a very hard time starting it (im thinkin due to this) but what i need to know is what can you gurus figure out , thanks alot

If there is oil on the outside of the plugs it could be your sparkplug seals leaking in the valvecover. You said they are kinda milky looking, sounds like water might have gotten in there also. If the car has been sitting for a while you should go ahead and give it a tune up and it should be fine. Except for the idle problem.

Just by tinkering around with it, I found the the idle screw had vibrated loose. you just need to start the car, and adjust the screw till it sounds right.

i tried that but when i even ajust it a little it goes to like 3-3500 rpms and then takes forever to come back down?and the tb lever part that rests on the idle screw is right on it?????

Maybe you forgot to plug a sensor back in after the TB job? Sounds like you may also have a bad valve cover gasket and/or head gasket because of the coolant mixing with the oil and getting on the plugs.
