belt question

hi i have an 87 caprice classic and for some reason its been tearing my belts to pieces, i was wondering if there was a kit to buy to convert everything to the wider belts not just the little skinny things that i have now

Your car should already have the wider, V-ribbed belt on the fan/alternator.

If it's tearing the belts up, you need to find out why and fix it. You may have a misaligned pulley, a loose mounted accessory, a bad accessory, or just plain overtightened or overloose belts.
