Guys please chime in here. My 97 Tahoe is in need of more power and I want to start with the exhaust and muffler. My question is since its just a single setup should I just run two pipes to one muffler or do should i go with 2 mufflers as well? What muffler would you guys recommend for daily driving buy I want a little noise. Was also thinking of doing the headers while the whole exhaust is being redone? Any suggestions on the headers? thanks

Go with the 50 series Flowmaster man. Just as loud as the 40 when you put the gas down, but not so freakin loud on the highway that you can't hear yourself think. Its the best of both worlds and is what I have on my Tahoe. I believe its dual in and dual out on mine.

I just put a cat-back flowmaster 50 series SUV model; dual 3" in, single 3" out. I also have the k&n cold air-intake. It sounds awesome! has a real good sound.
I didnt want anything too loud, but I did want some. I bought the 50 series cat-back, but I went with the 50 series SUV model instead; for that little bit less sound. I love it!
I still have the 50 Series muffler (single 3" in/single 3" out) if anyone is interested in it.
I plan on getting headers too, but there is so many damn choices. any recommendations?
Recommendations on a intake manifold and throttle body would be helpful too.
