So I just got my new Sidekick 3 today and had to try and post a thread in here...so here it is....haha

As for the internet...its pretty fast on here....but I know that I will be on here all day long...lol....

Heck yeah...technology these days is crazy...I mean think like 5 years ago you never would have thought about cruising around the internet on your phone....

I know, its nice... I am going down the road and see a sign for something and I have no clue what it is, I just hop on google. lol

how is t-mobile's service? on Long Island it sucks, i was thinking of getting a phone from them but when i checked online for the coverage map, it said long island was in the "1 bar" range wheich meant you could make a call from "OUTSIDE".. what kind of company publishes that?

Dont feel bad. I've had cellular service sence 1997, and have only had 4 phones. I'm not big into the either. My wife on the other hand.... Diffrent story.

I dont go through phones like crazy....but I usually try to get a really nice one when I do. The last phone I got was 2 and a half years ago.....

I get all the free phones I want. Perks of working for a cell provider corportate store. Don't pay anything for features or phones.

I've got a drawer of older phones waiting to get sold to my repair shop.

This one is holding up great though.

Hey now, my razr took a beating from hell... Got smashed in the middle of the road and I put it back together and it still works. lol I was surprised how well it held up for being such a fragile phone.

i dropped my nextel in a pond fishing once..:banghead: fell right off my clip took a bounce and right of the fishing pier.. i did not get it.. lol the water is black as night and polluted.:nono:

my contract just went up and i got the slider chocolate... not too bad... nice how you can play mp3's and go though everythign on the phonewhile the music still plays

Almost all mp3 phones do that. You can do whatever you want while still playing music. All of them will stop playing when the phone rings, and then pick up right where it left off when you hang up then. Pretty sweet.

I disagree with the Razr being a cheap phone. Mine went through a summer of working on the farm and my cars, a summer at the lake at which it was dropped in, and the only reason I don't use it anymore because the glass in the front got busted out one day while working outside this winter so I just decided to get a diffrent phone, but the phone itself still works. Right now I'm workin with a Treo 650 and it's bomb as hell, the only thing I wish it had was Windows Mobile. Other than that I'd recommend it to anyone, and it was only $200 shipped to my door.

Just for the heck of it I threw my sim card back in my razr for the day. lol

Treo's FTW, hell yeah. Lastnight I installed Palm 'n Stein on my phone...which means I now have a phone, mp3 player, and logger all in one.

The 650s suck. Big, bulky, buggy. It's like a deformed, non-working dick.

And the Razrs, there will always be problems with those. If your screen doesn't go out first, the keypad will. Ever seen the "Unable to Charge" error? You will eventually. It's enevitable.

Then you need the right connection to the palm... unless he's going straight from the cradle, maybe?

And I disagree with you David, although it may be somewhat big, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. And buggy? Mine works perfect.
