doing burnouts......

im tryin to burn out for a long time aiming for 200 ft:rolleyes: lol so i was wondering which way to do it? i was thinking reving upto 8000(b16a) and dumping the clutch but then i thought of a frying clutch and broken axels:D all i have now is i/e (stock clutch) should i just wait till i get a street/strip clutch or what?

Wait till it rains. We got my friends 95 LX auto (all stock) to light up for a block.

yeah, definately, when the pavement is good and wet is the best time to burn, when I was delivering papers I used to love it just after it rained

Instructions for 200ft burnout:

1. Apply E-Brake
2. Floor it
3. Release E-Brake when burnout has reached desired length

yea, some sort of slick surface is needed. I can't get mine to do an e-brake burnout unless there is sometype of slick surface under the front tires. If not it will just drag its ass and not spin the tires at all. I have done a nice stationary burnout on a arrow on some pavement, left a nice mark in the pavement. They painted back over it, but you can still see where it was since its in the pavement.

i'll try the ebrake trick and the wet surface one tommorow(but i doubt it rain :rolleyes: ) :D btw speaking of drifting...well i know you cant teach someone how to do it over the net but whats the basic foot work and steering? i tried letting of the gas at 20 swerved left then cut back right real quick and gased it but no luck lol. i dunno it was at least worth a try.

somebody else will have to take it, it just comes natural to me, i would pay attn next time I do it but the only car I have that I can drift is missing an engine.
