Yeah i've been wondering the same thing, cause i replaced the pcv valve and the new one is open in both directions( i can blow thru it) and the old one only one direction, hopefully someone can help us here since that's the only leak i have right now.

PCV valve should only go one way. If it's 2 ways, its not doing its job.

Well it sounds like your gettin a good bit of blowby in your motor and its not helping running a worn out PCV valve... I would replace that valve ASAP and you will see a nice gain in fuel mileage.

Whats wrong with it? A PCV valve is a PCV valve. Its not gonna be any different no matter where you get it from, besides the price.

I said it in my last post, It was a brand new and it's open on both ways, and the old one only one, and david said it's suppossed to be open on 1 side only.

Well I would take it back to the autoparts store and tell them its defective and have them give you a new one that works.
