I'm lookin to upgrade my bulbs in my headlights. I don't wanna go HID or anything like that just a little brighter. I was wondering how amny watts I need to get the blue white look? Like 80 or 85watts? And how can you tell the kelvin temp of a bulb? I know the higher the kelvin the whiter it is.

I have Show Off Brand Bulbs and they are allot brighter w/ out that blue color. They just look clean white. I know what you mean and I hate that blueish tint that most bulbs have and they are way cheaper than the PIAA lights.

I won some bulbs off EF_LSVtec, and they have a SLIGHT bluish tint, but are pretty much PURE WHITE.

I dunno what brand they are or anything, he said they cost him $85

I guess I said it wrong :bloated: I want to get bulbs with a slight blue tint. And I was wondering how many watts a bulb needs to give off that tint? How many watts are your bulbs?

i got some plasma industry bulbs off ebay, high & low beam, 4 $25 & they look good. The high beam r 100w & the low beam r 80w. They r rated at 5000k & have the blue tint 2 them. I honestly can't say that they r that much brighter than the bulbs i had stock but they aren't yellow & they do light up the road better, it's hard to compare them cause they're a completely different color & look.
