96 Taurus How to swap engine and tranny mounts

Has any one swapped engine and tranny mounts on 96 Taurus?
I am trying to figure out how to swap engine mount and tranny mount for this Taurus and am looking for advices from those who have done it.
Can this be done without lowering the front subframe? I plan to lift engine a little enough to allow clearance for the engine mounts to come out and go in without disconnecting tubes and lines. Will this be possible on 96 Taurus sedan?
