I dont know if this question belongs here or not,but i am asking it anyway.

Does anyone of you know what type of software use car dealers to diagnoze problems,if they have such a software?
I have Mitchel on demand but it aint any diferent from chilton's manuals,or at least not much.

Dealers use in house references, completely different than anything you'll get "aftermarket"

Most independant stores use either mitchel or alldata. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on the car in question.

the "real" product (alldata and mitchel) is waaaaay better than the mitchel manuals. The paper manuals aren't worth keeping for paper-weights IMO

Any idea where to get the factory manuals, Possibly avoiding buying?

I dont have any friends at the dealership.
