97 Altima Airbag light flashing

just happened today, is there anyway to fix it?

Is it same as fixing the same problem of 96 Altima?

The airbag light is flashing because there is either a problem or if you did any work with the battery connections, you entered diagnostic mode by mistake.
Try this.
Find the door jamb button on the pillar. Turn the key on and within 7 seconds, push the door jamb button 5 times in and out. Then shut the key.
Turn the key on again & watch the airbag light. If the light is still on, you have a problem that needs to be diagnosed. If it goes out you just reset the system yourself
Don't worry about setting off the airbag...you won't.

The airbag light was no longer blinking after I did what you said.

I have the same issue on my 96' Altima. I'd like to try the this. Sorry for sounding like an idiot, but where is this button on the door jam? I'm kind of a newbee at doing it myself.

The door jamb button is the black rubber covered button that actually turns the dome light & "door ajar" light on and off. If you are sitting in the driver's seat and open the door, swing your left arm down and around behind you and it's mounted on the pillar where the door closes.

Good luck...it shoud at least get you into diagnostics or at best clear your light.
