I'm cheap:icon16:  Seriously, I never even thought about the Hasegawa kit; I do like the looks of their 348ts though...

Well, maybe this is when HLJ's slowness at processing orders might come in handy, no?:grinyes:

Probably the fact that HLJ has it on for 1400 yen I would say. Almost made me buy one.

Mike.

Tonio, you sure are nuts for wheels! I think everyone here can appreciate that though....

:grinyes: Those are usually the determining factor in the majority of my builds!:iceslolan I've learned the hard way to get them while they're still available!!:evillol: I'm going to look into one of those resin casting kits to make my own copies of the wheels I like the most:sunglasse .

got my 365 and 512bb in the post today and I am very impressed.
it's not enthusiast crazy level in detail and some shapes seem a bit heavy/soft but it is way better than the old revell kit.
It's also rendered my year long tamiya testarossa/revell 365boxer kit bash redundent.

now my new pc is up and running and everything's been migrated over, I can get pics of the box contents up if you want.

very nice looking top rear subframe.

triple webers aren't as nice as the one in the LP400 kit but these are hidden by the filter boxes anyway.

centre tunnel is nicely detailed

as expected the tamiya engine is sharper and looks (and probably is) more correct. the drive shafts on the fujimi kit are molded onto the engine block.
on the other hand, it doesn't look like it'll take much work to swap the engines around.
I also can't seem to see cam covers for the fujimi kits. sure, like the carbs. they're mostly hidden but it seems a shame to make a nice kit but not go all the way...

wheels don't look too bad. haven't measured them properly but they're the same size as the old revell kit so that might be a good sign. The tyres look good for the old trx

chromed parts aren't too bad but nothing a bleach bath won't fix.

some side by sides of the "unique" 365/523 parts.
http://x84.xanga.com/0e2d41e7d8533114158692/w81588192.jpg
the vents on the 512 rear are actually all open, as are the ones on the rear skirt area.
the side skirt naca ducts aren't open though.
it doesn't look like the 512 is any wider than the 365 but I can't remember right now if it was the 512 or the BBi that was wider (by one single inch).

http://xf1.xanga.com/5f9d50e4d8230114158707/w81588200.jpg
512 seats have an extra little headrest and different rear lights.
365 has the triple lights and triple pipes.

http://x70.xanga.com/eccd24e4d8c30114158713/w81588204.jpg
different exhaust/silencer boxes.
the 512 looks more like the testarossa.
really, I should've also got a 512bbi to compare with the tamiya testarossa kit.
