Pulled into garage and it would not fire the next morning. No codes when jump diagnostic connecter, 42 lbs fuel pressure, and new coil. How do you check the Electronic Spark controller? Ant ideas welcomed on problem.

Disconnect high tension cable between coil and distributor.
Hold coil high tension cable end approximately .23 inch from suitable ground.
Engage starter and check to see if spark jumps across gap. If spark is not present, check for defective ignition coil. If ignition coil is satisfactory, replace distributor.1986-88 Trooper II & Pickup W/4ZD1 & 4ZE1 Engines
Check outer face of ignition coil (http://library.alldatapro.com/alldata/LIB~C5110~R0~OD~N/0/34870067/56620440/56620441/56620442/34853741/34857029/34859584/34859819) for cracking, rusting or damage to socket area. Check resistance of primary coil (A-C) and secondary coil (A-B) as shown in Fig. 2. Primary coil resistance should be 1.10-1.40 ohms on 1986-87 models and 0.9 ohms on 1988 models. Secondary coil resistance should be 8,600-13,000 ohms on 1986-87 models and 9,400 ohms on 1988 models.
If measured resistance is not as specified in step 2, replace coil assembly.
Disconnect power transistor electrical connector.
Disconnect high tension cable between ignition coil and distributor at distributor side, then hold exposed end of cable approximately .24 inch from ground.
Turn ignition switch to the ON position. Fig. 56 Testing power transistor.http://library.alldatapro.com/alldata/LIB~C5110~R0~OB0~P3R0H~N/0/34870067/56620440/56620441/56620442/34853741/34857029/34859584/34859862/34859870/56674355/41953993
Connect positive side of a 1.5 volt battery to Y terminal of the power transistor and negative side to ground, Fig. 56.
Disconnect battery lead and check that spark jumps across gap between end of high tension cable and ground. Repeat test several times.
If spark is not present, replace power transistor together with bracket. If spark is present, proceed to step 7.
