i am going to buy a 97 ford ranger i have to replace the fuel pump anyone know how much work it takes and how much $ im going to spend

its 200 in parts, and the bed either needs to come up or the tank needs to be dropped. that should be no more then 5 hrs for a shop 6-=10 for shade tree mechanics

autozone $65.00 to $100.00 just for the fuel pump
have a friend help you take off the bed. takes about 15 to 20 min's to remove
not to sure how long it will take to remove the pump.
