New Steering Rack

I just had two new (rebuilt) steering racks put in my 2000 GT. The problem with the first one was that the steering wheel didn't come back to center after making a turn, & was "jerky" The second one is also a little "jerky" & not a smooth, fluid motion like it's supposed to be. This happens a little on turns but mostly when the steering wheel is returning to center.

Is this something that's to be expected with a rebuilt rack, & something I have to live with? I replaces the original due to leaking problems but it worked much better than the 2 rebuilt ones so far.

Sounds like crappy rebuilds to me...try to find a quality unit?
