Engine swap 3.4L with 3.1L

I currently have a 3.1L motor in a 95 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I have found a 96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a 3.4L and a blown head gasket. My motor (3.1) only has 56,000 miles versus the bad (3.4) with 200,000. Can I replace the bad 3.4L with my good 3.1L as a direct swap or do I need to do something else (computer or something that I am not thinking of.)

As the 96 is a full obd11 engine some electronics on the engine may be different, but the swap should be direct. To be sure check a salvage yard for there interchange info.
