I know Vfaq.com has ECU pinouts and you could find the rpm signal there, but if you are trying to find the wire that goes to the stock gauge im not sure.

:1: for giving that tach to whomever you bought it from back, so you wont have civics pulling up next to you wanting to race becasue they see something that they all use. Make the install easier, and just give it back .

Riiiiiiiiiiceeeeeeee.
If you are worried about when to shift etc, I would get a shift light and wire it up.
Way better than having a huge honkin tach on your dash.

But even then, how hard is it to just look at the stock RPM gauge? I think it is still even ricey when you have a modderatley modded car with a red light telling you when to shift. But then again, that might just be me. Install it if you do so please, it is you car after all.

My Tach does not work at all. My harness is hacked to pieces and my stock tach doesnt work. I still have the car. No one wants a built car I guess.

I wouldnt knock the 5" tach. Sure they are ricy, but the stockers get inaccurate once a car gets decently modded. I can try to find the post, but it was posted by a knowledgable local guy on a different board a while back.
