Anyone ever eat these? Cheapest meal I'll ever eat--Any special recipies with them? I'm up for something new! So far, I've added in some misc things like bacon bits while eating them, and I have to say, much improved 15 cent quality :).

Nope, never had them. Junior in college and I've never had ramen....
I think everyone has had ramen. Talk about a quick way to freshman 15 though.

You gotta love Ramen Noodles!!!!
...until you move out of the dorms. I probably ate 4 times my body weight in Ramen in 2001. They were 10 cent back then, how could anybody pass on that!?
Recipies? I used to put ketchup in my chicken ramen. Other than that it was quick and dirty. Are you a soupy ramen guy or a thick ramen guy?

I think i ate them a few times the first month of my freshman year in college. They have to be the single worst thing for you in the world. If you are looking for something new I would suggest buying a bag of those frozen chicken "breasts". Toss one on the george forman (if you are in college you have one or should have one) You actually might not be hungry 15 minutes after you eat that

Ramen FTW!!! I used to eat them all the time, now its only every once in a while. I need to get more...just had my last one 2 days ago.
00accord44: Still at 10 cents round here if you buy them at the right time. Otherwise I think they are 14 cents. An thick ramen is the best. lol

i'm chinese; do you think i've ever had ramen?
recipes?
the nissin webiste (http://www.nissinfoods.com/recipes/recipes_main.php) has recipes for some usual and unusual things to do with ramen.
for the record, the best non soup ramen thing I've ever had served to me by a friend was an okonomiyaki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okonomiyaki) style pancake/omlette with ramen in it.

I usually crack two eggs in them while the water starts to boil. Kinda like egg drop soup. Add just a little bit of salt. :)

i went to a boarding school with alot of asians, i've had about every type of ramen out there, although i've never actually heard people call it ramen. i like them all actually, both the thick and the soupy, but i usually prefere soupy ones. i know a few of the asians had some things they'd throw into them, egg as mentioned before, some threw in some sausage of some sort, just try stuff to see if you like it, they're cheap enough to do that.

So, my 25-year-old cousin was watching me make ramen one day and she's like, "I hate those things, they never taste like what they're supposed to, so I just put ketchup on them..."
And then when I poured the little seasoning packet in them, she said, "Why would you do that? I thought that was to keep the noodles fresh or something..."
And I'm the blonde in the family...seriously.

I also forgot to mention that I add that asian hot sauce with the rooster logo on it. I don't put too much in it. Just a dab otherwise it'll take all the flavor out.
