ok today when i took a corner my subs would stop playing and then ever i pulled over to check it with my dmm it would work again. but this time i was able to pull over and check it over with my dmm and it showing that the amp is going getting 3 volts now is this a grounding problem or did something inside of it get fried.
i'm leaning towards ground because i didn't get any smell and i had all my windows up this time unlike when my type r got messed up plus most of the time unlike this time it would work before i had a chance to check it out. and no blown fuses. the lights on it turn on and i can get a 2 volts or so coming out of the spear outlets.

found the problem i melted part of the ground insulation off and when i looked at the part connected to the car some weird coating came off so i convied that is what the problem is.
now when my system is all said and down i will be having 4 amps would it be better to us 2/0 or 3/0 to a distrobution block and connect the amps ground to that.

Use 2-runs of 1/0 and dont use any size bigger than what is used for powering the amp.
