CTR/ITR 5 Lug Conversion

I am trying to decide whether or not to get a 5 lug conversion for my '97 Civic EX Coupe. I am either going to get the 5 lug conversion and get the Mugen MF-10 wheels or just stick with my stock 4 lug setup and get the Mugen MF-8 wheels. If I get the Integra Type R conversion, would that make my Civic handle like an Integra Type R or would it not make a difference in that aspect? I know that the Civic and Integra rides on the same platform, so I would imagine that what makes the Integra Type R handle better is in the suspension setup, which I would get if I do the conversion. Also, does the Integra Type R sit any lower than a Civic in stock form? I want my car to be about 1 inch lower, so if the ITR setup would automatically lower my car a little, that would be a definite plus, since I would no longer need to buy springs and aftermarket shocks. Perhaps some of you can answer my questions. Thanks!!!

How do you figure you would get coil-overs(shocks/springs), strut tower bars, anti-roll/sway bars in an ITR 5 lug conversion? Those are the things that make it handle better. The 5 lugs system gives it more strength and rigidity to handle the extra power and better stopping power with the bigger discs. Theres a lot to it. :)
And yes, the Type R does indeed sit a little lower than the standard civic or integra.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the 5 lug conversion would not change the handling characteristics of my car. I will get better braking, more rigidity, and of course, the ability to use those sweet Mugen MF-10 wheels.

You might get slightly tighter handling because the control arms are probably stiffer, but I doubt you would notice it with stock civic suspension. This is atleast how I understand it. Look for some pictures of ITR conversions and individual suspension parts on the web and you will see what I mean. There is a lot to the suspension system on an ITR.
