Rear door (Gate) handle broken

I have a 2002 Sequoia. The rear door (gate) handle broke. its made of plastic and the plastic gave. now i cannot get the door open so i can remove the panel and replace the broken handle. is there a way I can get the rear door open? TIA.

had to take truck to dealer for door handle fix. he tells me the left panel had to be pried off a little then the mechanic had to work his hand threw panel opening and unlock door. Very uncomfortable if you do not have small arms dealer tells me.
